3. Savannah State University, Savannah, Georgia.
Project:
M.Sc. students are encouraged to undertake rural based scientific research work with community services for five days.They collect samples from the villages and undertake research work in the college laboratories.
Seminars:
Presentation of Seminars by the students are a part of our curricula.All our students must have to participate in seminars once in week.Students have to deliver seminar talks to improve their presentation skills with power point presentation.
IBM-TGMC programme:
We are proud to say that, our Postgraduate College is one among the top 30 colleges in india for IBM-TGMC, the Great Mind Challenge Programme-2012.More than 110 students have registered for this programme under which they have to develop software projects given by IBM company. IBM company has conducted online certificate examination on "DB2 Fundamentals" for MCA students in which 16 students have been certified during 2012.
Microsoft Technology Associate:
The Microsoft Corporation has conducted Microsoft Technology Associate certificate examination for MCA students in which 16 students have got certified. We have conducted an Online training programme "Virtual Tech Days" for Faculty & Students of MCA with the support of Microsoft Corporation on Latest technologies like windows Azure and Windows Phone& programmning for 3 days.
Microsoft suggested subject papers:
On the suggestion made by Microsoft Corporation,we have introduced 2 theory Industry Specialization papers for MCA final year semester students namely:"Cloud Computing" and Winndows Phone Programming".
Wi-Fi Facility:
Wi-Fi facility is provided in the campus of all colleges and in the hostels at free of cost.
Research Center:
Kakatiya University has recognized Department of Chemistry,Chaitanya Postgraduate College (Autonomous) as Research Center to carry out research programmes leading to award of Ph.D. degrees in chemistry
Jawahar Knowledge Center(JKC):
The Jawahar Knowledge Center(JKC) was established during the academic year 2007-2008. Our Chaitanya Degree & P.G. College have been adjudged as the Best Jawahar Knowledge Center(JKC) by information Technology & Communication Department,Govt. of A.P ."Outstanding Performance Award" was present to our Colleges by the Hon'ble Cheif Minister Dr. K. Rosaiah ,on 28th April,2010
